Our Programs
Relationship Weekends
Overview:
We offer a clear plan for fathers and children to build relationships. We are currently offering our father/son weekends to entire congregations. Our plan is to use the synergy and momentum of a whole local congregation moving toward relationships to achieve more than we could otherwise achieve individually.
Schedule:
Thursday evening to Saturday afternoon. We have access to a private retreat which sleeps 40+. We invite you to use it. Time will be spent in a fun & full schedule, which will include:
-Brief group sessions
-Father & son/ Mentor & Apprentice times
-Group games
-Team-building activities
-Fathers’ sessions
-Apprentices’ activities
During the weekend we strive to:
1. Help both father and child develop a deeper awareness of their styles of relating and life patterns
2. Develop a more accurate picture of, and greater love for Father God
3. Discover how they can call each other to life via true, deep, and loving relationships.
When the weekend is completed, each father/son will be given an Adventure Journal to work
through over the following two years. The journal is designed to give a father tools and a plan to
mentor and spend quality time with their sons.
When Adventure Journal 1 is finished, the entire group can choose to schedule a 2nd weekend and
move on to the 2nd Adventure Journal. We encourage this second step, and we pray that our fathers
and sons will be inspired to continue.
We believe that as fathers build solid relationships with their children, while simultaneously building
relationships and accountability within the local brotherhood, the Kingdom of God will be advanced.
Discipleship Initiatives
Building off the father/son weekends, we offer resources to assist local congregations in transforming their accountability groups into a powerful discipleship tool. We advocate not only a defensive accountability stance, but we also advocate proactive discipleship… moving us to achieve greater things for the Kingdom of Christ.
Church Discipleship Plans:
A second goal of Moriah Ministries is to implant vision and provide a forum for developing church discipleship plans. For many of us, there are a lot of unknowns to developing such a plan. We will strive to work with the leadership and trusted lay brethren in building a cohesive plan to strategically disciple the men in your congregation. We are working to provide tools for this purpose as well.

Weekend 1 Workbook
We are excited to offer the workbook for Moriah Ministries Men’s Weekend 1. All the info you need throughout the weekend is in this document.
Adventure Journal 1
This First Adventure Journal is a companion workbook to the Moriah Ministries Weekend 1. It provides a monthly time of interaction between father & son (or mentor & trainee) for 2 years. It is centered on the Word of God. It will help us deal thoroughly and Scripturally with the past, present, & future.
“What Do We Do With The Past”
We have all had a past story, or history if you will. Some things the Lord has enabled us to do well, others areas we have messed it up pretty badly, and we tend to want to hide those parts. What do we do with
